PhysX FluidMark is a physics benchmark based on PhysX SDK and OpenGL, developed by Jerome "JeGX" Guinot. FluidMark is performing fluid simulation, using on SPH-algorithm and up to 779 000 particles.


Important note.

This page was not updated for a long time. Some of the info might be outdated or invalid.

FluidMark supports both hardware acceleration on NVIDIA GPUs and multi-core CPU PhysX (up to 64 cores can be used), offers benchmarking and stability testing modes, several additional graphics options and online submission of benchmark scores.

Given all the above, FluidMark is popular tool for testing GPU PhysX and Hybrid PhysX configurations.


Important note for Hybrid PhysX users.

FluidMark 1.2.2 and above is compiled using driverless PhysX SDK 2.8.4 and thus, won't work with Hybrid PhysX systems right away (because it does not rely on patched PhysX System Software).

To overcome this problem, we recommend to rename or delete PhysXDevice.dll library, located in FluidMark folder.
