PhysX System Software 9.12.0807
New release of PhysX System Software - PSS 9.12.0807 – has been spotted in MSI 306.38 Beta GPU drivers.
Official Release Notes are unknown.
However, we have discovered that .0807 release only contains libraries for PhysX SDK 2.7.x and above – probably, it was done to reduce size of the installer. At the same time, this makes new PSS incompatible with old (2005-2007) PhysX based games.

So only AGEIA games are incompatible. All NVIDIA games will run without reinstaling between new and old PSS. If I want to play GRAW2 with PhysX I will have to install old PSS instead of new one and oposite for new titles.

However I see now, that old PSS is good enough for all PhysX titles and nothing can be continuously reisntaling.

Yep, 2.7 libraries, used by GRAW2, are included in this installer.
Overall number of games left behind is about ~50 (can’t say exacty as I don’t store SDK versions in titles database).
