WeeklyTube #1 – pilot entry

We gonna try to launch something new today – weekly (every wednesday) overview of most interesting and informative PhysX related videos, which we’ve picked out from YouTube, Vimeo, and others free video hosting services – called WeeklyTube.
This week YouTube is fully packed with copies of Batman: Arkham Asylum PhysX trailer – you can see it in a post below. Let’s find out what passed unnoticed.

Interesting video, showing tearable cloth physics inside PhysX SDK. This scene is not included with standart SDK package, but custom made.

Echo from the past. Originally, PhysX SDK based RTS title Joint Task Force was supposed to support Ageia PPU hardware acceleration, but in fact only this trailer remain as result.

Appc23 tried to reproduce PhysX creensaver from GeForce PowerPack #2 using Blender 3D and Bullet physics engine – looks decent, but don’t forget, original PhysX screensaver has cloth and fluids in addition. Looking forward to next version, appc23
