Gamestudio A8 now includes PhysX SDK integration
Conitec Datasystems has announced that physics system in latest A8 version of their Gamestudio game engine is now based on PhysX SDK 2.8.3 (previously it was ODE).
According to devs, such changes will result “in a better frame rate and greater stability of the physics simulation”.
PhysX SDK integration was developed in conjunction with Christian Kahler, author of pXent PhysX wrapper.

OT: Do you have any experiences with the last drivers and PhysX release? For me after instaling it becasue of new GPU GTX460, I have problems to get GPU@PhysX initialization in some games or demos like Mirrors Edge and Supersonic Sled. There is implicitly CPU PhysX initiated instead of GPU PhysX which is set in control panel.

Well, Supersonic Sled runs just fine under Win 7, 9.10.0224 PSS and 258.96 GPU drivers – on my GTX470
As for Mirror’s Edge, you can try to delete SDK .dll’s in game folder (PhysXLoader.dll, PhysXCore.dll, etc) – this may help, cause it will use latest one from PSS package instead

Thanks Zogrim. Mirrors Edge runs without any problems now.
