Hardware manufacturers can provide any configurations they can/want for testing. But they should never cross the line and help (work closely) the developers with any piece of code. They have already provided solutions, SDKs (with documentations).

Developers should fix all bugs by themselves, that way they can actually learn things and fix bugs more quickly in patches and future projects.</description>
