Yes, according to this thread - http://forums.anandtech.com/showthread.php?t=2044604
you can play it nice with PPU on Low PhysX settings (I doubt that APEX Turbulence can even run on PPU)

Apparently a lot of people are having problems installing the PhysX patch for this game (enabling Med and High physx effects), in which the patch would search for the directory Dark Void is installed in, completely pass over it during the scan and report that it cannot find the game. It suggests reinstalling the game but that doesn't help.

Who knows a solution to this problem?

I have a theory that when it searches for the directory, the search is cap sensitive, when looking for C:/Program Files/CAPCOM/DARK VOID, I installed it as J:/Program Files/Capcom/DarkVoid

I'm going to try an attempt to reinstall the game under default settings and see if that helps at all, I'll report my results later...

Yes, I've noticed. For example, you can't install patch on Russian version of Dark Void. If I'll find the solution, I'll post it too.

According to http://www.nvidia.ru/object/games_darkvoid_ru.html , where dreaded russian version by 'One Ass' company noted, PhysX patch could be reissued, cause download link still the same as in nzone game page.
