Looks like you have to edit your database
Thanks, interesting  Huh however, need to perform some research firstly

[upd] Visual Indicator isn't working, and I can't spot any particle or cloth effects, so this "Hardware" switch will work only in PPU case likely (not to mention, because of lack of GPU PhysX specific description in SDK docs, some devs are thinking that PPU features can be applied to GPU too)

Anyway, I'll perform a several runs, and if I'll spot any significant performance differences, I'll add this title.

[upd#2] There is one effect I was able to notice - shell cases player's weapon is ejecting are interacting with static level geometry, and their number is rather large (~100-200 particles)
Thus, there is slight performance difference while shooting with "Hardware Physics" option enabled and disabled, still, not worth a mention.

Huh ? in previous updated they dumped Bullet in favor of PhysX  Cheesy

"I mentioned this before but the main reason we switched to PhysX is that over the last month or so a lot of players told us that version actually ran smoother"

So if they switched back to Bullet, they haven't checked latest PhysX SDK (as some users started to have issues with PhysX drivers, which are in past now)

Coincidentially Bullet SDK 2.77 with GPU acceleration has been released today.
Lets hope the competition makes NVIDIA work harder/faster on PhysX SDK 3  Grin

Also: Gothic4 demo available in Germany; core 2.8.1, CPU only

Not with GPU acceleration yet, but with basic cloth solver (many features missing, DX11 is 7x times (!) faster than OpenCL) and basic particles solver - far from games anyway .. still, I really hope that will force NV to move their asses faster, yeah  Grin
