And for anyone else who's curious, this game still supports the old Ageia PPU as well as Nvidia GPU PhysX, depending on which you have enabled.

It never was alive from the start, actually (more like live support for PPU, similar to Cellfactor: Revolution). Even in good times, when servers were running, it was hard to find anyone.

Biggest battles I remember (with around 20 players) were between Ageia employees and us, Warmonger beta-testers, back in 2007 at certain events

Too bad, I was hoping to do some online gaming with that game.

Speaking of which, can one host LAN games with this game rather than internet servers?
