This PhysX v3.3 title has been developed with a heavy emphasis on effects compatibility (CPU-based PhysX), therefor it offers just a few hardcore GPU-accelerated PhysX effects.

Due to the lack of any integrated benchmark, cut or rigid play scene the following Hybrid PhysX comparison should be taken with a grain of salt. Roll Eyes

My customs settings comprise FullHD resolution with maximum details and NVIDIA Turbulance enabled:

Just like Rise Of The Triad and Shattered Horizon, XCOM 2 can use GPU PhysX to accelerate the performance of particles and explosions, only you had to enable this through an ini file edit:

https://www.reddit.com/r/Xcom/comments/46e6cn/i_enabled_hardware_physx_and_performance_jumped/
https://forums.2k.com/showthread.php?155501-PhysX-CPU-or-GPU

The game is listed on the Geforce site as a PhysX supported title.
http://www.geforce.com/games-applications/pc-games/xcom-2

I tested this my self on a GTX 1070, and it works, please add it to the list of PhysX games on your site.

I don't think Crytek has integrated PhysX for any of the GPU accelerated stuff - especially since they have some GPU particles of their own.
Crytek already implemented GPU PhysX in the game Warface.

NVIDIA offers a Patch for this games to support newer Geforce cards.

It also seems to fix the measurement spike on PhysX HIGH setting (Min FPS value):

Now that Hybrid PhysX is out of the backyard, I've done some testing with this classic Batman game title.

The benchmark of the GOTY edition is accessible by the startup argument
Code:
"ShippingPC-BmGame.exe benchmark"
.

I see.

I'll remove Battleborn from GPU titles, but won't add XCOM 2 yet either, need to check it myself

maybe nVidia must have had a good reason for a change of mind.

Or maybe they just removed the block due to some driver changes and forgot to put it back  Grin
