This isn't actually official, but I am going to say that it is more than likely we will PhysX 3.X features in Unity before the end of the year.

At the moment, Nvidia PhysX isn't multi-threaded in Unity3D. Which makes me wonder, if they are going to be implementing PhysX 3.x features, there is a possibility for GPU acceleration, further insinuating standard CPU multi-threading as well. I can only dream  Smiley

Dunno if GPU acceleration is the goal (Unity is mostly oriented on browser games, Iphone, adroid, etc.. afaik), but SDK 3.x is rumored to have more flexible architecture, that will allow better scaling of content and features for mobile platforms (cloth, fluids, etc). Not to mention improved performance and multi-threading, of course.

Good find anyway  Wink
