I have finally received a GTX 460 and I tested to see if I could get Raging Rapids to work and unfortunately it didn't. A month or so ago I attempted to get the demo to run on my brothers computer which also has a GTX 460. We both have the latest PhysX drivers installed (from the graphics drivers). I wonder, is it specific to the GTX 460's? Or is it something like I have to role my PhysX drivers back?

Yep, same happened with me. Mostly related to GPU drivers (as it points on OpenGL), probably.
Since RRR is kinda unofficial demo, not supposed to be available for broad public, I don't think they will fix it  Undecided

There is a topic in the NZONE forum.

I got it running by rolling back Forceware to 197.x/198.x
Therefore you need a modified ".inf" e.g. from LaptopVideo2Go

Thanks for the replies. I have just attempted to install 197.75 since I couldn't find any inf's in the forums for anything above that. Once I went through the "Have Disk" method, the only 400 series GPU's were the 480's and the 470's. I then decided to select the 470 to see if it would work anyway, but it didn't.

@Zogrim - Do you have any knowledge of whether or not Nvidia plan to officially distribute RRR?

They were planning to release enhanced version of RRR, as I was told.. but it was like 4-5 months ago.
