Where a PPU would accelerate a CPU PhysX game, would the GPU do the same with GPU PhysX enabled?

As I answered here, only few SDK features (used seldom in games) can be accelerated on GPU, so in generally - GPU won't help with CPU games.

In some cases, for example - if main character has, let's say, cloth cloak and developer set proper hardware flags for this piece of cloth - GPU may help, but possible performance gain may be eaten by allocated GPU memory (128 mb in SDK 2.8.3, by default)

That's what I know.
